Chef Runyen is a 1980 graduate of Downingtown
High School and a 1982 graduate of the Culinary
Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Upon
completion of his training, he worked at restaurants
and hotels in the Philadelphia area, New Jersey and
New York City. His resume includes stints at the
Headquarters Plaza Hotel in Morristown, NJ, the Top
of the Sixes in NYC, the Top of Centre square in
Philadelphia, the Brandywine Hotel and Resort
(formerly the Downingtown Inn), the Radisson Hotel
Valley Forge and the Radisson Hotel Philadelphia
Airport.
He currently resides in Lafayette Hill, PA. His wife,
Maureen, is the office manager and bookkeeper for
the company. He is the proud father of 4 boys,
Andrew 21, Taylor 16, John 13 and Harrison 7.
